Pier restoration projects in Biloxi near completion

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Biloxi provided updates on two major pier restoration projects.

Both the Coliseum Pier and Forrest Avenue Pier restoration projects are nearly complete with new lighting being installed at both sites over the next few weeks.

At the Coliseum Pier, crews had to replace rotten parts of the structure and added new decking and safety improvements.

The Forrest Avenue Pier mostly consisted of decking repairs, done by the city’s port maintenance division.
