Picayune woman killed in single vehicle crash in Pearl River County
A Picayune woman is dead after a fatal crash in Pearl River County.
On Monday, March 3rd, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Interstate 59 in Pearl River County.
A 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 64-year-old Susan Frierson of Picayune was traveling north on Interstate 59 when her vehicle traveled off the roadway and collided with a tree. Frierson received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Mississippi Highway Patrol.
