Picayune running back Dante Dowdell offered by Tulane

Another day, another offer for Picayune running back Dante Dowdell, who’s adding Tulane to his bag ahead of his senior season.

Dowdell just pulled an offer from Florida State over the weekend and is also sitting on one from Southern Miss.

The Maroon Tide workhorse was the state’s third-leading rusher in 2021, eclipsing 2,500 yards with 28 touchdowns en route to Picayune’s first 5A state championship since 2013.

Dowdell was MVP of that 40-21 revenge victory over West Point in which he broke off 148 yards and two scores on 25 carries in addition to taking home MaxPreps Player of the Year.
