Picayune Police nab commercial, auto burglary suspect

A man accused of breaking into multiple businesses and stealing a vehicle is behind bars.

Police say 19-year-old Terry L. Fowler has been charged with two counts of commercial burglary and motor vehicle theft.

On Monday about 4:27 a.m., officers responded to Robertson Brothers Automotive on Highway 11 about a commercial burglary. Fowler was developed as a suspect, believed to have broken in and tried to locate a key fob to take a vehicle at the business but fled before doing so.

Officers also learned the same suspect broke into Delta World Tire on Memorial Boulevard and stole a vehicle from that business, which was used during the Robertson Brothers break-in.

Officers later located Fowler in the stolen vehicle and was arrested.
