Picayune police investigating shooting into home
Picayune Police are investigating a shooting that narrowly missed a grandmother and her grandchildren.
On Friday night just before midnight, officers responded to a home on Nixon Street about a shooting.
A grandmother was in bed with her two small grandchildren where it happened and bullets traveled very close to where they were sleeping.
The suspect is believed to have been on foot and fired approximately 14 shots.
Detectives are investigating and are reviewing video from several locations.
Police ask that anyone who may have captured anyone on video or saw anyone in the area at that time to please contact Captain Rhonda Johnson or dispatch at 601-749-5482.
