Four finalists are selected for the inaugural Mississippi Leopold Conservation Award.

The award recognizes landowners who inspire others with environmental improvement.

Currie owns Woodland Cottage Farms, restoring and managing native grasslands and Longleaf Pine trees.

He also works to enhance biodiversity, control invasive species, and improve the forest’s timber stand and understory.
