Picayune High’s Jamonta Waller named 6A Mr. Football

Huge news coming out of Picayune Memorial High School as the 5-Star Florida commit Jamonta Waller has been chosen as the Mr. Football Recipient for Class 6A.

Currently sitting at 56 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, and three forced fumbles, the outside linebackers and defensive end gets to add this accomplishment to his long resume which also includes back-to-back state championship titles as well as an Under Armor All-American.

Also cool to note, this is the second year in a row that Picayune has taken home Mr. Football honors with current Oregon running back Dante Dowdell winning in 2023.
