Picayune football’s Chris Davis offered by Florida State
The lightning to Dante Dowdell’s thunder, Picayune running back Chris Davis received his first division I offer from Florida State.
Davis really made a name for himself in the Maroon Tide’s 5A State championship game victory over West Point with two huge momentum changing touchdown runs in the first and second quarters.
On the season, the sophomore came close to breaking 1,000 yards with 953, averaging more than ten yards per carry to go along with 17 touchdowns.
