Picayune football’s Chris Davis commits to Stanford

A big-time change of heart for Picayune running back Chris Davis who committed to Stanford on Sunday less than a week after decommitting from Ole Miss where he gave his verbal pledge back in March.

The soon-to-be senior speedster was already a game-breaker even playing behind Dante Dowdell, now ready to step into the feature back role, having already accounted for more than 2,000 yards and 33 touchdowns to go along with four picks on defense across the last two seasons.

The four-star recruit choosing the Cardinal over 20 plus D1 offers, including six from the SEC, paving the way for him to play against Dowdell once a year in the Pac-12.
