Picayune falls in the South State Championship losing to Hattiesburg 47-27

The Picayune Maroon Tide traveled to Hattiesburg for their 5th South State appearance but this time a rematch against the Tigers.

Unfortunately, Hattiesburg just didn’t stop scoring and would eventually run away with this one in the second half to win the game 47-27.

What a great season the Maroon Tide had, we here at WXXV are always proud and we’re sure they’ll be back for another run next season!
