Picayune earns its 5th straight region title with a 35-31 win over Gautier

It was a class 6-A region 4 matchup as the Picayune Maroon Tide traveled to Gautier to take on the Gators.

This game would be a wild finish going back and forth all game long but it would be Picayune again winning not only the game 35 to 31 but also their 5th straight region title.

Picayune (8-1) will finish their last regular season game of the season at home against Pearl River Central (6-3) while Gautier (3-6) will also finish off the regular season but be on the road, this time against Pascagoula (3-5) on a thursday night on November 6th.
