Picayune defensive end Jamonta Waller offered by Georgia, Texas A&M

Picayune’s Jamonta Waller is officially the next in line on the Coast, having already received an offer from Alabama on Wednesday followed by defending national champion Georgia on Thursday and now Texas A&M today.

That makes 19 Division I offers for the class of 2024 defensive end, including more than half the SEC with Ole Miss, South Carolina, Mississippi State, Missouri, Auburn, and Arkansas, already in his bag.

Waller was every quarterback’s worst nightmare in 2022, finishing second on the Maroon Tide with 106 total tackles and first with 11-and-a-half sacks, to go along with a forced fumble, two recoveries, and a pick en route to Picayune’s second straight 5A State Championship.
