Picayune cruises past George County in the 2nd round of the playoffs, winning 63-40 and advancing to south state

The Picayune Maroon Tide hosted the George County Rebels on Friday for a 2nd round heavyweight showdown between two coast schools.

Picayune would go on to defeat the Rebels for the second time this season, this time in a shootout 63-40. Picayune will now host the undefeated Hattiesburg Tigers in south state for a chance to play in the state championship.
