Picayune and the Maroon Tide football team send two players to PRCC on National Signing Day

Over to Picayune and the Maroon Tide as two student-athletes signed to continue their football careers at the next level with Pearl River Community College.

Both Triston Cooper and Canaan Uzel spoke about what this day means to them and why they chose to take their talents to The River.

“Really just the environment and when I went up there…them showing me around the campus and everything was cool,”Tristan Cooper said. “Go start, go play and go to a bigger level.”

“It means everything, you know, it has been a dream of mine since I was a kid to play at the next level,” Canaan Uzel said. “I have been watching Pearl River as I ave grown up and it is going to be special to put on that maroon and gold.”
