Photographing minors in violation of privacy

A Gulfport man will spend 15 years in prison for photographing three young girls in violation of their privacy.

Thirty-one year-old Travis McMurray was sentenced to 30 years behind bars with 15 suspended after confessing to taking photos of young girls between the ages of six and eight while they were patients at Memorial Behavioral Health in Gulfport.

McMurray had only worked at the facility for approximately one month at the time of the crimes.
