Peter Anderson Festival wraps up in Ocean Springs

It was a fun weekend in Ocean Springs with thousands filling the streets for the 46th annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival.

It is the largest festival in Mississippi and along the Gulf Coast, featuring live music, food, and drinks. There were also over 400 vendors selling artwork and homemade creations.

Many vendors gave demonstrations at their booths, showing spectators just how much work and imagination goes into making their crafts.

The festival began in 1978 and honors potter Peter Anderson, who founded Shearwater Pottery in 1928.

After two busy days, the festival ended on Sunday.

If you missed it this year, check out the Peter Anderson Festival on Facebook to stay up to date with the event.
