Peter Anderson Festival returns to Ocean Springs this weekend

The largest fine arts festival in the state is back this weekend!

The 44th annual Peter Anderson Arts and Crafts Festival will take place in Downtown Ocean Springs Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Festival organizers are expecting almost 150,000 people over the weekend and almost 400 vendor booths from all over the United States.

Vendors will be selling everything from paintings and pottery to fiber arts, clothing, quilts, and much more.

Don’t worry, there will be food and drink vendors!

Be aware, there will be road closures to accommodate all of the vendor booths. Ocean Springs Chamber Executive Director Cynthia Sutton said, “A lot of fun things. Live music, we have vendor musician space throughout the festival all over the grounds this year. So, it’s just a great event that we want the family, the whole family, to come out and enjoy and again you can do a little bit of everything…shopping, dining, music, walking, kid’s activities. There’s so much to do.”
