Petco Foundation awards grant to the Humane Society of South Mississippi

The Petco Foundation is making a big investment in Gulfport to help save the lives of unwanted and orphaned animals.

The Petco Foundation has awarded a $400,000 grant to the Humane Society of South Mississippi to help save the lives of more animals at the Gulfport shelter.

The Petco Foundation Grant is designed to support its ‘Value the Vulnerable to Victory’ program through providing pop-up animal wellness resource fairs where lower income communities can receive education, wellness, and spay and neuter services for their pets, all free of charge.

Since 1999, Petco has invested more than $260 million in life saving animal welfare work to make this happen.
