Petal Students In Need Of School Uniforms

It’s been a little over a week since a devastating tornado ripped through much of Hattiesburg and Petal. And local students are still, very much in need of help.
The storm destroyed hundreds of houses..and while it may still be a pretty big struggle at home, students in the petal school district are trying to get back into the normal routine…many without uniforms.
A Gulfport resident who works in the stone county school district is trying to help gather donations of uniforms, in hopes to help kids get back on track at school.

“The extra burden of having to get uniforms again for all your children that you had already paid for..so..Any burden that we can lift during this trying time through Stone County schools is really what we’re trying to do.”
– Lee Crump Stone County Schools

Kinder-garden through high school students are in need of khaki or blue pants, and red, white, grey or black polos.
Any size is appreciated.
Clothing donations can be dropped off to stone county high school in Wiggins.
