Pet of the Day: Red needs a forever home
Many animals at the Jackson County Animal Shelter are in need of a forever home.
Red is our pet of the day. He’s a seven-year-old pitbull mix, good with dogs, kids, and doesn’t seem to mind cats.
Adoption Coordinator Maridee Mallette says he’s good on a leash, sits for treats, loves belly rubs, and is just an overall a calm, sweet old man looking for his forever home.
Another bonus, Red is already neutered and microchipped. You can bring Red home for just $25. Be sure to set up an appointment with the shelter first though.
They’re open Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. by appointment only.
