Pet adoption and supply drop off in honor of Sophia Myers
Sophia Myers, who recently passed away after an eight-month battle with DIPG, would have turned nine-years-old this year.
In loving memory of Sophia and her overwhelming love for animals, the Ocean Springs Lions Club is sponsoring an annual Animal Shelter Drive in Sophia Myers’ name, with the goal to make it bigger and better each year.
The drive is going from now until Nov. 13th with multiple drop-off locations. The great drop off day will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Quakes Ice Creamery on Bienville Boulevard in Ocean Springs. The pet adoptions will be sponsored by the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
Drop off locations include:
- Ocean Springs City Hall 1018 Porter Avenue
- Ocean Springs Fire Department located at 3820 Bienville Boulevard
- Ocean Springs Discount Pharmacy 2120 Bienville BLVD.
