Perkinston man accused of child molestation

A Perkinston man is facing ten counts of molestation and three counts of sexual battery and producing child pornography after allegedly assaulting boys for years after he lured them to a farm to work.

The boys, ages five to 14, didn’t tell their parents about the alleged assaults, parents told our media partner the Sun Herald, because the suspect allegedly threatened to harm the boys or their families if they came forward.

Forty-year-old Bryan Keith Ladner, who is jailed in Hancock County under a bond of nearly $1 million, had a preliminary hearing Thursday in justice court, where Judge Desmond Hoda bound the case over the grand jury.

Ladner could face more charges.
