Pedestrian Killed in St. Martin

A St. Martin man died over the weekend after being struck by a vehicle as he was walking down Lemoyne Boulevard.
According to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell, 41-year-old Michael Holloway was walking near Van Eaton Circle when he was struck by a black Honda Accord.
Sheriff Ezell says the victim was wearing dark clothes and walking in an area with little to no lighting.
No charges were filed against the driver and the accident is still under investigation.
