Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Long Beach

Around 9 last night, a woman was struck by a vehicle on the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Highway 90 in Long Beach.
Seventy-six year-old June Stuart was pronounced dead on the scene due to blunt force trauma from a vehicle. Authorities say no one was arrested on the scene. The traffic at the intersection was related to Cruisin’ the Coast.
Authorities notified Stuart’s family after the accident occurred. Her family does not live in South Mississippi.
