Pedestrian hit and killed in George County

Early this morning, a 25-year-old man died after being struck by a car in the Rocky Creek community of George County.  Authorities have identified the victim  as Justin Hennis.

Around 4 o’clock the George County Sheriff’s Office received a call concerning a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on Old Mobile Highway.

After discovering Hennis, authorities transported him by south-flight to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
