Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department welcomes newest K9 team

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department is celebrating its newest K9 team.

K9 Diller and Deputy Leonard have completed all training and classes for their law enforcement K9 team certification.

Sheriff David Alison gave K9 Diller a special badge to honor his certification.

Diller is a dual-purpose K9, meaning he is certified in handler protection, catching criminals, and narcotics detection.
