Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department shares numbers from Click it or Ticket campaign
PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department is sharing their numbers from the 2026 Click it or Ticket campaign.
Drivers saw an increase in checkpoints and deputies from May 11 to the 31st.
The sheriff’s department saying they believe the increased patrols and checkpoints helped keep residents safe.
In total, there were 35 checkpoints.
During that time, deputies gave out 25 seatbelt tickets and handed out 25 suspended violations, 26 no insurance, and three child restrain violations.
