Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department honored by Picayune Chamber of Commerce

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department was honored by the Picayune Chamber of Commerce this year, happening during the 2025 First Responders Luncheon.

Awards were given out to five members of the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department.

Hunter Martin took home Deputy of the Year while Malley Bilbo took home Rookie of the Year. Investigator of the Year went to John Seal.

Also honored was Rebecca Rasmusson with the Professional Support Employee of the Year Award.

Corrections Officer of the Year went to Ivory Bickham.

The department said they would be mistaken if they didn’t recognize and honor all deputies, corrections officers, investigators, and office staff.

They say these people make the department run so well and thank every single member for their work.
