Pearl River County man arrested on possession of meth with intent to distribute

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Pearl River County deputies, along with the State Bureau of Narcotics, executed a search warrant at a Poplarville home on Monday.

David Matthews was found with meth, digital scales, and plastic bags used for packaging, also close by were guns.

Matthews was taken into custody and charged with possession of meth with the intent to distribute while in possession of a weapon.
