Pearl River Community College’s Jacob Keys earns Golden Glove award!
Our WXXV Play of the Day goes to the stone wall of Pearl River Community College, the picture perfect catcher, Jacob Leys!
Earlier today, the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings rewarded Keys with the 2025 NJCAA Division II Gold Glove in the catcher position. He was literally spotless behind the plate committing no errors all 2025 season long. He had a .375 runner caught stealing percentage, while allowing only six passed balls.
The catcher held his own at the plate as well, hitting .333, with 50 RBI’s, 10 home runs, and 73 runs scored. Keys is the fourth Wildcat to ever take home the honor.
Congratulations Jacob, you and your Golden Glove are our WXXV Play of the Day!
