Pearl River Community College brings the hype to 2025 Spring Football game

Pearl River Community College hosted their 2025 Spring Football game on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The talented Wildcat squad was split between offense and defense playing a total of 75 plays. Many incredible plays were made in Poplarville and these highlights give you a glimpse of electricity you’ll see during the 2025 season.

Key plays were made by quarterbacks Reese Mooney and St. Stanislaus’ Ian Gael Gonzalez Rios. Kylin Champagne showed off his wheels while Gautier’s Kelvin Beavers, Howard Kinchen and Henry Lee showed off their hands. Head Coach Seth Smith says the Wildcats have had a great spring and he’s looking forward to seeing what his guys are capable of doing this fall.

“Last year was a good year for us in a sense that we had some big wins and we kind of made some strides in a positive direction and we have so many guys coming back from last year that the goal this spring is to make sure we’re better now than we were in the fall because we’re older. In your old year is when you have the chance to make some noise,” said Head Coach Seth Smith. “We’re excited! I know the kids are happy and you should see a lot of energy, a lot of noise, and it’s going to be a good fun hype day to be a Wildcat.”

We are looking forward to seeing that Wildcat hype continue into the 2025 football season! We’ll see you at Dobie Holden Stadium!
