Pearl River Central’s Beverley Griffing named MHSAA Swim Coach of the Year

We have some super exciting news for one of our local leaders! Coach Beverly Griffing has been named the Mississippi High School Activities Association Swim Coach of the Year!

Beverley Griffing, also known as “Coach Bev,” is currently the swim coach for the Pearl River Central Blue Devils! This is the first time in school history that PRC has ever had a coach recognized for this state-wide recognition, and it’s very well deserved!

This past swim season, the Blue Devil boys swim team brought home the 2023 State Championship, and the girls team placed second at South State! It’s obvious that Coach Bev makes a positive impact on her team both inside and outside the lanes.
