Patients Still Standing Strong Against Singing River Hospital

A group of patients are at war with Singing River Hospital after the recent abrupt termination of a well-known Pascagoula doctor.
Patients wore shirts supporting Dr. Terry Millette to the monthly board meeting at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula today. Millette was a neurologist with the hospital who specialized in multiple sclerosis.
After he was let go from Singing River Health System last month, Millette’s patients say the hospital has put their lives at risk by removing their doctor.
Singing River Health Systems CEO Kevin Holland tells News 25 the hospital stands by their decision.
Patients tell News 25 they don’t believe the hospital had a good enough plan for the nearly 4,000 patients Millette had. Holland doesn’t agree and says the hospital is continuing to reach out to all of the patients to help.
