Passionate Local Cheerleading duo creates Small Business to help teams statewide!

We can all use some extra spirit, especially when it comes to cheerleading! Sports Director Ansley Brent sits down with coaches Heather Serpas and Hannah Sexton to learn more about their small business HS Spirit Support!

From coach and athlete to now business partners, both Serpas and Sexton cheered for high schools on the coast and collegiately, but that was only the beginning! As a Head Coach, Serpas would then lead her high school cheer team to five State Championships and three National Championships. Sexton would go on to have a career on her own, helping Serpas’ team while cheering professionally with the Saints Cheer Krewe.

With their combined love for cheer and passion for helping others, they created HS Spirit Support which is a cheerleading service that specializes in competitive gameday routines to create a clean, collegiate look. After launching in late April, the dynamic pair has already begun helping cheer teams throughout the state.
