Pass Christian School District superintendent gets a contract extension

The Pass Christian School District board of trustees has announced that Superintendent Dr. Carla Evers has been granted a two-year extension to her contract.
After evaluating Dr. Evers’ contract during a lengthy executive session last week, the board unanimously amended her contract and raised her pay to $135,000 per year.
According to the school records, this was a ten thousand dollar increase. The contact was an early grant to keep Dr. Evers for another two-year cycle. Dr. Evers’ contract was originally set to end this year.
