Superintendent Dr. Carla Evers shares new strategic plan within the school district

Employees of the Pass Christian School District and community members met at the Cat Island Event Space for the school district’s State of Education address.

Superintendent Dr. Carla Evers shared ideals, strategic planning, and future projects being implemented into the district.

The Pass Christian School District houses over 1,800 students and 300 staff and staff with a $28 million budget. Dr. Evers shares more on future plans of growth in the school district. “Our focus was our new strategic plan new horizons. We’ve been working all across the school year to look for new horizons for our students over the next six years. So we’re really excited about our plan and we wanted to share that excitement with our community today. Our children are phenomenal. I will take them anywhere in the world and they will make us proud we have the best faculty and staff and I’ll put them up against anyone.”

The A-rated school district has a 91 percent graduation rate accumulating over 10 million dollars in scholarships.
