Pass Christian PD resuming ‘R-U OK’ program to assist community members
The Pass Christian Police Department posted on Facebook they are resuming their ‘R U OK’ Program.
The program assists community members who are at home and would like officers to check on them through daily visits or phone calls.
While any resident in Pass Christian is eligible for the program, police would like to focus their efforts on the elderly and citizens with special needs, especially those who do not have friends or family in the area.
To participate in the program, call 228-452-3301 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. to speak with a member of the police department community services.
