Pass Christian man wanted in Texas robbery case arrested

A routine traffic stop in Ocean Springs resulted in the arrest of a Pass Christian man wanted on armed robbery charges.

Wednesday, an officer with the Ocean Springs Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 for a traffic offense.

The driver was identified as Destan Patrick Dedeaux, 26, of Pass Christian, Mississippi.

A routine driver’s license check showed that Dedeaux was wanted for armed robbery in Galveston, Texas.

Dedeaux was placed into custody after a brief struggle. He is being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center awaiting extradition to Texas.
