Pass Christian man arrested for statutory rape

A man is behind bars tonight facing a felony rape charge for an incident that allegedly took place in December of last year.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson, 26-year-old Clyde Fricke of Pass Christian was taken into custody today.  The sheriff’s office received a criminal complaint of statutory rape that happened in Pass Christian.

The 14-year-old victim told a teacher at her school who contacted authorities.

Fricke was booked into the Harrison County Jail and charged with one count of statutory rape.
