Pass Christian K9 gains his badge!

You may remember Scout, the Pass Christian pup whose story we have been following for nearly a year!

We have followed Scout the Pass Christian K9 from his first day at the police department to when he gained a name and prepared for training.

Today, on his birthday, we announce that Scout has officially graduated K9 school!

Scout spent four and a half weeks training as a narcotics detection dog for the Pass Christian Police Department.

Scout and Officer Klodnicki have already hit the ground running.

They’ve especially been focusing on building community relationships with Scout.

Officer Klodnicki says Scout offers more than just drug detection.

He is valued just as much as any member of the team.

“Any kind of dog you interact with, they just bring joy to you. He’s always kind. He’s always happy. He’s always wagging his tail. He just brings happiness to everybody, I believe,” said Officer Alex Klodnicki. “I hope to accomplish big and better things. We’re just starting, so we have many, many years left.”

Congratulations Scout Blue Daniel on your graduation.
