Pass Christian Historical Society Tour of Homes and Tea Set for Sunday
Since Hurricane Katrina the Coast has made quite a comeback including some of the homes that were rocked by the 2005 storm.
The Pass Christian Historical Society is offering an opportunity to learn about the history of the city through some of those historical homes this weekend. Visitors to this year’s tour of homes will be able to enjoy a cup of tea while visiting four homes plus a historic cottage, all within walking distance of each other, on May 1st from 2 to 5 p.m.
Cynthia Hammond with the Pass Christian Historical Society said, “After the storm so much was destroyed and we had our first tour in 2008 after the storm which was 2005. Now more and more homes are being built and restored and lived in and it’s just wonderful that the community is coming back and that’s what we hope to show people.”
Advanced tickets are $25 online or they can be purchased the day of the event at any of the homes for $30. For more information, visit Passhistory.org.
