Pass Christian Harbor Cleanup
After seeing litter continue to buildup in his hometown, a local realtor decided to take action.
Ken Harshbarger of Pass Christian hosted the first annual Pass Christian Harbor Cleanup. For over two hours, volunteers from around the Coast picked up debris and trash from the park and shoreline.
Food and beverages were served, including mimosas, to get people interested in coming out and having fun while keeping their city clean. “I think it’s important to kind of, you know, have our best foot forward whenever people come down here, especially this time of year, getting things cleaned up for spring and summer whenever we have a lot of people come into town,” said Harshbarger.
Harshbarger plans to continue hosting this event with his eyes set on a cleanup every three months at different cities along the Coast.
