Pass Christian Fire Chief announces retirement
A board of alderman meeting in Pass Christian on Tuesday involved something unexpected when Fire Chief Dwight Gordon announced his retirement.
His retirement is effective on May 31st of this year. Fire Chief Gordon asked the city to authorize a replacement with a start date of June 1st.
He served 21 years with the Pass Christian Fire Department, joining the team on May 22nd, 2003.
