Pass Christian Elementary mock election results
Election Day is fast approaching, but second graders at Pass Christian Elementary have already cast their ballots, making informed choices before going to the polls at their mock election.
In the second grade, for the U.S. Senate general election, reform party Shawn O’Hara had 14 votes. Incumbent Senator Roger Wicker tied with Danny Bedwell with 10 votes each which means Democrat David Baria won with 22 votes.
For the special election, non-partisan Tobey Bartee had eight votes while Democrat Mike Epsy had 15. Republican Chris McDaniel had 16 votes, barely losing to incumbent Senator Cindy Hyde Smith, who won with 18 votes.
In the House, reform party Lajena Sheets scored 16 votes, Democrat Jeramey Anderson received 19 votes, and Republican Steven Palazzo came out with the most, winning 22 votes.
