Pascagoula vs. Ocean Springs
In a hard fought game between two Jackson County high schools, it looks like the Ocean Springs Greyhounds have come out on top.
Special teams gave them the edge in the first half as the Greyhounds recovered a punt and found themselves up 6-0 thanks to the efforts of their kicker.
Penalties plagued the Panthers all night as the Greyhounds slowly pulled away on the way to a 20-7 victory.
Before the game, News 25 spoke with Bill Glenn, the voice of Panthers Radio, to discuss this year’s team and tonight’s match-up. “Our linebacking play last week I think was the key to our defense. We gotta tighten up on the defensive line so our linebackers aren’t having to make so many plays. Our secondary is going to be tested with Austin Williams, a receiver from Ocean Springs.”
