Pascagoula teens killed in car crash

The City of Pascagoula mourns the loss of two teenagers killed in a car crash over the weekend.

Blayze Broadus and Jonathan McCommon died Friday night when the vehicle they were in hit a utility pole at Pascagoula Street and Highway 90. Both Broadus and McCommon were 17-years-old and heading into their senior year at Pascagoula High School.

Police say the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene while the other teenager was taken to the hospital and died shortly after.

Services to honor both Blayze and Jonathan will take place at Arlington Baptist Church. Blayze’s service was today at 1 p.m. and Jonathan’s service is on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
