Pascagoula takes down Gautier 49-12 to win Singing River Classic, will host first round of playoffs next week

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV) — The Singing River Classic brought plenty of excitement to South Mississippi this week, and at the end of the day, the Pascagoula Panthers came away with a dominant 49-12 win over Gautier.

The Panthers will host the first round of the MHSAA 6A Region 4 playoffs next Friday. Pascagoula finished the regular season with a 5-5 overall record and a 4-1 mark in district play.

Meanwhile, the Gators end their season with a 3-7 record.
