Pascagoula schools dismiss early because of low water in city

Pascagoula-Gautier School District is dismissing all classes in the city because of low water pressure in the city.
Classes will not be held in the city until the issue is fixed. Gautier schools are still in session.
The district is monitoring the situation and will update information as needed.
The problems began Monday afternoon due to an unidentified, large water leak in the city.
Public Works is trying to identify the source of the problem, but the city-wide boil water will remain in effect until further notice.
Pascagoula was under a city-wide boil water notice in December that lasted four days over the Christmas holidays. The problem stemmed from a broken water main in the city.
