Pascagoula Rotary Club CPR training

The Pascagoula Rotary Club might just be the next group of people that could save your life.
The meeting was held today to show the importance of health heart and learn simple, but critical life-saving techniques. The Jackson County Heart Walk Executive Leadership Team went out and trained members of the club in hands only CPR.
Along with training, personal testimonies were told which showed this life-saving knowledge can be used anywhere. Todd Trenchard said, “Our main hope is that somebody will know what to do if they came across somebody that needed help, but also to bring awareness to this year’s heart walk. That as volunteers we can all come together, raise money for this great organization that does so much in our community. I am hoping that all these Rotarians will go out, tell someone else about what they have seen.”
Singing River Health System was also at the meeting to be presented with a CPR training kit which will be used to go out and teach the general public the importance of hands only CPR.
