Pascagoula Public Library announces soft reopening

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pascagoula Public Library is set to celebrate a soft reopening this month.

This comes after a 14-month renovation, totaling a cost of $4.2 million.

Changes to the library include a complete roof replacement, a new elevator, and a full HVAC replacement.

The inside also received a new skylight glass installation, remodeled public restrooms, and new interior finishes and flooring.

Additions include the children’s library and an audio video lab.

Library staff does warn that as the library reopens some services may be limited during the soft reopening period.
